Inter Milan Eye €20m Move for Nigeria's Maduka Okoye

Serie A champions Inter Milan are weighing up a €20 million bid for Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye as the January transfer window approaches, according to reports from Italy.

The Nerazzurri are understood to be reviewing their goalkeeping options and have pinpointed the Nigeria international as a player who could strengthen their squad between the posts.

Okoye, 27, has built a strong reputation as one of the most reliable shot-stoppers in the Italian top flight. He was named Udinese's Player of the Season for the 2026/27 campaign, having made 30 league appearances and kept 10 clean sheets throughout the season.

The Nigerian goalkeeper has appeared in six Serie A fixtures so far this season, conceding 13 goals while continuing to anchor Udinese's defensive line.

Okoye made the move to Udinese from English Championship club Watford in 2023. Should Inter decide to formalise their interest, he could be set for a transfer to the reigning Serie A champions — a significant step up for a goalkeeper who has steadily risen through Italy's top division.
