The future of JJ Gabriel appears set to be resolved in the coming days, with an announcement on his next club expected soon as Barcelona and Real Madrid both pursue the forward.

According to Transfer Talk, negotiations involving the two Spanish giants are ongoing, and a final decision on Gabriel's destination could be made public before long. The race between two of Europe's most powerful clubs underscores just how highly the player is rated on the continent.

Schade attracting Premier League attention

Separately, Brentford winger Kevin Schade is emerging as a target for not one but two of England's biggest clubs — Arsenal and Liverpool are both understood to be tracking the German forward.

A bidding battle between Arsenal and Liverpool would represent a significant test for Brentford, who will be determined to secure maximum value for one of their most promising attackers. Schade has impressed during his time at Gtech Community Stadium, and his performances have now attracted top-flight interest from either side of north London and Merseyside.

No formal offers have been reported at this stage, but the competition between the two Premier League sides signals that a busy spell of summer business could be on the horizon.
