Harry Kane gave England the lead against Croatia with a retaken penalty, converting at the second attempt after his initial effort was saved by goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic.

Kane's first penalty was stopped by Livakovic, but the Croatian shot-stopper was adjudged to have moved off his line before the ball was struck — a ruling that gave Kane a second opportunity from the spot.
