Ezri Konsa has impressed analysts and pundits since completing his move from Aston Villa to Arsenal in the summer transfer window, with BBC Sport's Kelly Cates, Danny Murphy, and Micah Richards all highlighting the defender's smooth transition to his new club.

The trio offered their assessment of Konsa's performances, noting how effectively he has settled into Arsenal's defensive setup — a development underlined by the club's 1-0 Premier League victory over Liverpool at Anfield.

Konsa was a standout presence at the back as Arsenal shut out Liverpool on their own ground, a result that illustrated just how much the former Aston Villa centre-back has contributed to his new side's defensive solidity.

Murphy and Richards, both former Premier League players themselves, were emphatic in their praise, with the panel describing Konsa's adaptation as seamless. The centre-back has slotted into Arsenal's backline with a composure and authority that belies the disruption that often accompanies a high-profile summer transfer.

Konsa's arrival from Aston Villa represented a significant piece of business for Arsenal as they look to mount a sustained Premier League title challenge. His ability to read the game and organise those around him has reinforced the belief that the transfer has been a success from the outset.

The win at Anfield — one of English football's most demanding venues — served as a particularly telling benchmark for Konsa's credentials, with Arsenal keeping a clean sheet against a Liverpool side known for their attacking threat.
