Dejan Kulusevski has described himself as a "smarter" player after returning to action for Tottenham Hotspur following a 526-day injury absence — one of the longest stretches on the sidelines of his career.
The Swedish winger made his comeback as Tottenham beat Coventry, finally ending an ordeal that had kept him out of the game for well over a year.
Speaking after the match, Kulusevski suggested the long rehabilitation process changed his perspective on the game, using the word "different" to characterise who he is now compared to the player who first picked up the injury.
