Laura Woods Leads ITV's Studio Team for Canada vs Qatar at World Cup 2026

Canada and Qatar lock horns in their second group stage fixture at FIFA World Cup 2026 this evening, with both sides knowing that a victory could take them a significant step closer to the knockout rounds.
UK viewers can catch the game free-to-air on ITV, where the network has assembled a strong broadcast team for the occasion.
The studio line-up
Laura Woods anchors the studio coverage, joined by three pundits who bring a range of perspectives to the desk. Former Tottenham Hotspur head coach Ange Postecoglou is among them, having been signed up by ITV as part of their World Cup punditry roster.
USA Women's national team manager Emma Hayes rounds out the studio line-up alongside ex-professional Bradley Wright-Phillips. Hayes has drawn praise throughout the tournament for her sharp tactical breakdowns — and has even delivered quick analysis during the competition's hydration breaks, at moments when rival broadcasters have tended to cut to adverts.
Wright-Phillips, whose father Ian Wright also serves as an ITV pundit, is a former Manchester City forward who went on to represent MLS clubs New York Red Bulls and Los Angeles FC. The trio will deliver half-time and full-time analysis as Canada chase what would be their first ever World Cup win.
Commentating from the gantry
The live commentary is handled by Seb Hutchinson, who is paired with former Crystal Palace and Luton Town winger Andros Townsend. The duo have already called several matches together during this tournament and return to the gantry live from the stadium for ITV.
