Manchester City and Sunderland fought out a breathless six-goal draw at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, with Sunderland twice coming from behind to deny City all three points in their Premier League clash.
City drew first blood through E Fernández in the 9th minute, but Sunderland hit straight back when B Brobbey equalised just three minutes later to make it 1-1.
The hosts retook the lead as M Cherki struck in the 29th minute, only for Brobbey to score his second of the afternoon four minutes later, again levelling the contest at 2-2.
The match ultimately finished 3-2 to Manchester City after extra time, with the home side finally edging ahead of a resilient Sunderland side that refused to be put away.
