Manchester United Eye Ndiaye and Rogers as Summer Transfer Targets

11 hours ago·1 min

Manchester United are monitoring two Premier League talents ahead of the summer transfer window, with Iliman Ndiaye of Everton and Aston Villa's Morgan Rogers both understood to be on the club's shortlist.

Ndiaye, the Senegal international, has been on United's radar since January, and his name has resurfaced again in reports linking him with a move to Old Trafford. The Mirror claims he features on United's shortlist as the club assesses its options on the left wing — though the reports stop well short of suggesting a bid is forthcoming.

Sky Sports reported this week that Everton are not unsettled by the speculation surrounding their winger, noting that Ndiaye has three years remaining on his contract and that discussions over an extension have already taken place.

Rogers and Diomande also in the frame

Alongside Ndiaye, United have been linked with Rogers, who has established himself as one of Aston Villa's most valued attacking players. Villa are understood to be reluctant to sell on the cheap, though the club could consider cashing in should they need funds to reinforce Unai Emery's squad following their Europa League triumph.

Yan Diomande of RB Leipzig is another name United have considered, though the forward appears more likely to join Liverpool, according to current reports.

United chief stresses financial discipline

Chief executive Omar Berrada sought to temper expectations around United's transfer activity this summer, speaking on the club's Inside Carrington podcast. Berrada made clear that the club will not allow the market or agents to dictate their strategy.
