Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has moved to calm concerns about Erling Haaland's condition after the Manchester City striker hobbled off the pitch in the closing stages of City's 3-2 victory over Ipswich.

Haaland's exit prompted immediate anxiety among City supporters, but Maresca sought to reassure onlookers that the situation was not as serious as it appeared, playing down suggestions that the Norwegian forward had suffered a significant injury.

Manchester City edged out Ipswich in a closely contested match that ended 3-2, with Haaland's withdrawal in the final moments adding an unwelcome subplot to what was otherwise a positive result for the club.
