Couhaib Driouech, the PSV Eindhoven winger, was present at Ibrox on Thursday as Rangers hosted Jagiellonia Bialystok, with the 24-year-old Moroccan set to complete his transfer to the Scottish Premiership club by Friday.

The Haarlem-born wide man brings a strong scoring record to Ibrox, having netted nine goals and registered eight assists across 40 appearances for PSV last season. Despite those numbers, he was largely deployed from the bench — starting only once in PSV's eight UEFA Champions League matches and coming on as a substitute 24 times in the Eredivisie.

Driouech came through the youth system at Heerenveen, where he also made his professional debut, before spending three seasons with Rotterdam club Excelsior. At Excelsior, he made 101 appearances and scored 16 goals, earning a high-profile move to PSV in the summer of 2024.

A player with options

Eligible to represent France, the Netherlands, and Morocco at senior level, Driouech chose the Atlas Lions — and he featured in the Morocco squad that claimed the Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations title. He has since earned caps at Under-23 level for the national side.

Comfortable on either flank, Driouech is renowned for his pace, sharp footwork, and precise finishing — qualities Rangers are keen to add to their attack.
