José Mourinho has made clear that no player at Real Madrid is beyond being dropped, delivering the message as Vinícius Júnior prepares to reclaim his place in the starting lineup for the club's upcoming UEFA Champions League fixture on Wednesday.

The statement from Mourinho underscores the competitive environment he has cultivated at the Spanish giants, where even the most high-profile stars are held to the same standards of performance and selection.

Vinícius, one of the most dynamic attackers in world football, is set to return to the XI — suggesting he had previously been left out — but Mourinho's words serve as a reminder that no position at the club is guaranteed, regardless of a player's reputation or standing.

The UCL clash represents another critical moment in Real Madrid's European campaign, with Mourinho using the occasion to reinforce the squad discipline and accountability that he demands from every member of his group.
