Nigerian striker Muhammed Tijani has completed a permanent transfer to Hungarian club Újpest FC, arriving from Czech First Division side Slavia Prague.
The 25-year-old had already shown what he was capable of in Hungary during a loan spell in the second half of last season, when he scored eight goals and contributed three assists in 15 league appearances for Nyíregyháza Spartacus.
Club excited by the arrival
Újpest FC sports director Pál Dárdai made clear how much the club values the signing, describing Tijani as a genuine solution to a long-standing issue in the squad's forward line.
