Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany has confirmed that veteran goalkeeper Manuel Neuer will miss the club's UEFA Champions League clash against Viking on Tuesday night.

Neuer's absence opens the door for his understudy to step in, with Urbig set to take his place between the sticks for the away fixture.
