Nottingham Forest have secured the signing of right wing-back Daniel Munoz from Crystal Palace, with the transfer fee understood to be worth up to £22m.

The Colombian international has penned a three-year contract at the City Ground, with the club holding an option to extend for a further year. Munoz, 30, is reunited with manager Oliver Glasner, who previously worked with him during his spell at Crystal Palace.

Palace's move for Union Saint-Gilloise winger Anan Khalaili effectively paved the way for Munoz's departure. The south London club still turn a healthy profit on the deal, having originally acquired Munoz from Genk for £8.5m in January 2024.

Munoz was a pivotal figure at Palace, contributing to back-to-back trophy successes — the Conference League and the FA Cup — before making his move to the East Midlands.
