Okoye Satisfied With Udinese's Draw Against Como

1 hour ago·1 min

Nigeria goalkeeper Maduka Okoye has spoken positively about Udinese's 1-1 draw with Como at the Bluenergy Stadium on Saturday, describing the result as an important outcome for his side.

Hassane Kamara broke the deadlock in the 29th minute, converting after a clever pass from Jurgen Ekkelenkamp, and Udinese carried that lead into the half-time interval after keeping Cesc Fabregas' Como at bay throughout the opening period.

Como levelled nine minutes into the second half through Anastasios Douvikas, and despite Udinese pressing for a winner in the closing stages, the visitors held on to share the points.

Okoye proud of team's performance

Okoye, who started in goal for Udinese, told the club's official website that he was pleased with the point, even if his side had set out to win the match.
