Across Europe, Manchester United marked their first UEFA Champions League appearance in nearly three years with a commanding 4-0 demolition of tournament debutants Sabah FK at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils were in dominant mood from the outset, racing into a three-goal lead by half-time courtesy of strikes from Matheus Cunha, Bruno Fernandes, and Benjamin Sesko.
