Stefanie Kim Ladewig, the partner of Galatasaray and Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen, has come through unscathed after a three-vehicle crash in Istanbul, Turkey — a particularly alarming incident given that she is eight months pregnant.

According to the Demiroren News Agency (DHA), the 26-year-old Berlin-born model and content creator was behind the wheel of her SUV at around 3:10 p.m. on Tuesday, October 13, in the Mithatpasa neighbourhood of Kemerburgaz.

How the crash unfolded

Ladewig's vehicle struck the rear of a light commercial vehicle, causing her to lose control. Her SUV then veered into an oncoming SUV travelling in the opposite direction. All three vehicles suffered considerable damage, yet no one at the scene reported any injuries.

Given her advanced stage of pregnancy, Ladewig was taken as a precaution to a private hospital in Istanbul, where doctors carried out thorough medical examinations.

Mother and baby given the all-clear

Medical staff confirmed that both Ladewig and her unborn child were in good health, and she was subsequently discharged. The news brought considerable relief, with the incident having the potential to be far more serious.

Ladewig has been in Istanbul alongside Osimhen, who is currently on loan at Turkish Süper Lig side Galatasaray, where he has established himself as one of the most dangerous forwards in the league.
