Paraguay have pulled off one of the tournament's great upsets, knocking Germany out of the World Cup in a penalty shootout after a match charged with VAR controversy.

Kai Havertz, Nick Woltemade, and Jonathan Tah all failed to convert from the spot, handing Paraguay a famous victory and sending the tournament's former four-time champions crashing out.
