Ghana head coach Carlos Queiroz has declared his side are fully prepared to target Colombia's vulnerabilities when the two nations square off in the Round of 32 at the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Colombia enter the knockout stage having gone unbeaten through the group phase, topping Group K — a pool that contained Portugal, one of the tournament's leading title contenders. Despite that impressive run, Queiroz insists the South Americans are far from flawless.

The Ghana coach, who previously managed Colombia between 2019 and 2020, acknowledged his opponents' quality but was measured in his praise. Drawing a comparison to his own tenure, he noted that the current side carries a familiar feel.
