Scottish football's summer transfer window is buzzing with activity, with Rangers leading the headlines after seeing a bid for Partizan Belgrade midfielder Vanja Dragojević knocked back.

Rangers push for Dragojević

Rangers submitted an offer of £3.9m for the 20-year-old Partizan Belgrade captain, but the Serbian club are holding out for £4.7m plus a sell-on clause. According to Rangers Review, Dragojević remains one of several options Rangers are exploring to reinforce their midfield.

Meanwhile, Rangers have also registered interest in centre-half Sankhoun Diawara, though Basel are understood to be leading that race. Troyes, freshly promoted to Ligue 1, are also hopeful Diawara will sign an extension.

Rangers midfielder Nicolas Raskin appears destined for a summer exit following the World Cup, with Real Betis and two Italian clubs circling the 25-year-old Belgium international.

Celtic on the move in attack and in goal

Celtic are favourites to land Las Palmas goalkeeper Dinko Horkas, having tabled an offer approaching £3.5m for the 27-year-old. The Glasgow club may face competition in other positions, however: Feyenoord are reportedly ready to trigger the £4m release clause of Hertha Berlin goalkeeper Tjark Ernst, potentially beating Celtic to his signature.

Lyon are tracking Rangers striker Youssef Chermiti and have also held talks with Hearts over forward Claudio Braga, adding further intrigue to an already active window.

Celtic midfielder Reo Hatate has made no secret of his desire to leave Parkhead this summer, with the 30-year-old seeking a move to one of Europe's elite leagues after missing out on Japan's World Cup squad. Fellow midfielder Benjamin Nygren, 24, was equally non-committal after Sweden's World Cup exit, saying only
