1 hour ago·2 min

Rangers are reportedly on the verge of bringing Ross McCrorie back to Ibrox, with the 28-year-old versatile defender set to return from Bristol City. The Scotland international, who came through the club's academy, could soon be playing in light blue once more, according to Rangers Review.

Across the city, Celtic have sweetened their bid for Zinedin Smajlovic, submitting a revised offer of £3.9 million plus £1.7 million in potential bonuses for the 22-year-old Sandefjord centre-back. However, the Norwegian club are under no obligation to sell, with a host of clubs — including Olympiacos, Hull City, Fenerbahçe, Toulouse, Feyenoord, and Lyon — also circling the midfielder, per Rudy Galetti.

More transfer movement in Glasgow

Rangers are also preparing a formal offer for Luke Graham, the 22-year-old Dundee centre-back, with Football Insider reporting the move could be submitted within the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, Hearts face growing interest in two of their players. Winger Alexandros Kyziridis, 25, has attracted attention from four Greek clubs — Olympiacos, PAOK, AEK Athens, and Panathinaikos — all eager to take him back to Greece. Hearts are understood to be seeking a fee of between £2.6 million and £3.4 million for his signature, according to Fussball Europa.

Hearts complete Guendouz deal

Hearts are also set to finalise the arrival of Sabri Guendouz, a 26-year-old forward who has said his farewells to Belgian second-division side Beerschot. Guendouz was in Edinburgh to undergo a medical and complete a six-figure transfer, per Hearts Standard.

In addition, new Hearts head coach Wouter Vrancken is expected to arrive in Edinburgh on Wednesday to put the finishing touches on his appointment. The former Sint-Truiden boss reportedly hopes to bring two assistants with him — former Club Brugge midfielder Tim Smolders and Jong Cercle coach Cederique Tulleners — according to the Daily Record.
