Rangers International will stage their preliminary-round home matches in the 2026/2027 CAF Champions League at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikene, Ogun State, according to an exclusive report by Completesports.com.

Why the Flying Antelopes are moving venues

The club's traditional home ground — the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu, widely known as The Cathedral — is currently undergoing renovation work, leaving the nine-time Nigerian champions without a CAF-ready base for their continental campaign.

Rangers International are the reigning 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) champions and will be participating in Africa's premier interclub competition for the 11th time during the 2026/2027 season.

The Flying Antelopes faced a similar situation in 2024, when they hosted U.S. Zilimadjou and Sagrada Esperança in their preliminary-round home ties at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo — a venue that carries full CAF approval. The Remo Stars Stadium, by contrast, currently holds only provisional approval from the continental governing body.
