Real Madrid Demand LaLiga Chief Javier Tebas Resign Over Nazi Propaganda Comparison

57 minutes ago·1 min

Real Madrid have called for LaLiga president Javier Tebas to step down after he likened the club's campaign against refereeing decisions to the propaganda methods used by Nazi Germany.

The Spanish giants issued a formal demand for Tebas's resignation following his remarks, which drew a direct comparison between Real Madrid's public criticism of officials and the manipulation techniques associated with the Nazi regime.

The row marks yet another flashpoint in the long-running and deeply fractious relationship between Real Madrid and Tebas, who has repeatedly clashed with the club over governance, finances, and the European Super League project.

Real Madrid have consistently accused referees and football authorities of bias in recent seasons, a stance that Tebas has now characterised in the most inflammatory terms yet — invoking the spectre of Nazi-era propaganda to describe the club's communications strategy.

The club wasted no time in hitting back, demanding that Tebas vacate his position at the head of LaLiga's governing body. Real Madrid argue his comments were not only inappropriate but disqualifying for someone in his role.
