Saha Names Barcola as Dream Signing for Manchester United

1 hour ago·2 min

Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has declared that Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola would be a dream addition to the Red Devils' squad, pointing to the Frenchman's directness, energy, and growing maturity as key selling points.

Speaking to Casinolyze, Saha argued that Barcola possesses the attacking aggression Manchester United desperately lack. "Bradley Barcola would be a dream signing at Man Utd because he's a very direct player," the former striker said. "I have seen an improvement in his mentality. He has won two Champions Leagues in a row, he has that confidence and experience."

Saha was particularly impressed by Barcola's ability to influence matches as an impact substitute, a quality he views as a mark of elite-level readiness. "At a very young age, he's full of energy. It's not easy to come on as a substitute and be a danger, but he's capable of dribbling, taking the ball and turning you, and he also has fantastic balance," Saha added.

Barcola vs. Doué: a fine distinction

The ex-United forward drew a pointed comparison between Barcola and PSG teammate Desire Doué, suggesting the two players offer contrasting but complementary threat profiles. "It's almost a better balance than Desire Doué. Doué is very gifted and can run 15km in a game, but he doesn't go behind defenders," Saha observed.

He cited Barcola's goal against Senegal as evidence of the winger's ability to exploit space in behind. "I think you saw that with the goal against Senegal — Barcola has the right balance and makes great runs. He's a terrific player for a squad in the Champions League. He's the type of player that's always going to help."

An elite left winger in full flight

Barcola has developed into one of the most dangerous wide forwards in European football since making the move from Lyon to Paris Saint-Germain. Operating predominantly on the left flank under Luis Enrique, he has combined blistering pace with sharp dribbling and intelligent movement to become a fixture in PSG's attack.

His tally of 11 goals for the Parisians underlines a level of output that has placed him among the continent's most productive left-wingers, with his dribbling success rate consistently ranking among the highest in the league.
