Salah's Saudi Demands, Olise Stays at Bayern, and Adeyemi Heads to Barcelona

Mohamed Salah's hopes of securing a lucrative move to the Saudi Pro League this summer may be fading, with clubs in the kingdom reportedly deterred by the former Liverpool forward's financial demands. At 34, Salah continues to command enormous wages, and Saudi sides appear reluctant to meet his asking price.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid have received a firm rejection from Bayern Munich over any potential deal for France winger Michael Olise. The German giants have made clear that the 24-year-old is not available this summer, closing the door on a move to the Spanish capital.
Adeyemi set for Barcelona switch
Borussia Dortmund attacker Karim Adeyemi is on course to join Barcelona in a deal worth 31 million euros (£26m). The 24-year-old Germany international appears to have played his last game for Dortmund, with the transfer reported to be all but confirmed.
Arsenal and Liverpool are both tracking Lutsharel Geertruida, the 25-year-old RB Leipzig and Netherlands defender who spent last season on loan at Sunderland. The two Premier League rivals are expected to compete for his signature in what could develop into a fierce bidding war.
Trincao hijack eyed by City and Spurs
Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Francisco Trincao and could move to intercept the Portuguese winger's planned 50 million euro (£42.6m) transfer from Sporting to Saudi Arabian side Al-Ahli. The 26-year-old's destination is far from settled.
Barcelona are also preparing to ramp up their pursuit of Julian Alvarez. The Spanish club are reportedly ready to table a 130 million euro (£110m) bid for the Atletico Madrid and Argentina forward, 26, after this summer's World Cup concludes.
United eye two more midfielders and a goalkeeper
Manchester United are pushing to add two further midfielders to their squad following the arrival of 22-year-old Chelsea and Brazil international Andrey Santos. The club are also searching for goalkeeper cover, with Paraguay's Orlando Gill, 26, identified as a target. The San Lorenzo shot-stopper is understood to hold a £5.2m release clause.
Newcastle United's pursuit of England goalkeeper James Trafford, 23, has received a boost. Aston Villa — previously considered a rival for Trafford's signature — are keen to retain Argentine number one Emiliano Martinez, 33, though Chelsea have also entered the race. Trafford is currently contracted to Manchester City.
Other transfer movements
New Benfica manager Marco Silva is plotting a move for his former Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha, 31. A bid of 25 million euros (£21.3m) is being prepared to bring the Portugal international back from Bayern Munich, where he spent last season on loan at Tottenham.
Greece centre-back Konstantinos Mavropanos, 28, is attracting attention from several Premier League clubs and European sides after a standout personal campaign at relegated West Ham United. Como, meanwhile, are interested in Colombia defender Davison Sanchez, 30, but face a potential stumbling block in Galatasaray's 30 million euro (£25.6m) valuation. Hull City have submitted a bid for Swedish midfielder Elliot Stroud, 24, of Mjallby.
