Sevelj was absent from Dundee United's victory over Kilmarnock on Saturday, having been granted permission to travel to Baku for a medical and contract negotiations.

Meanwhile, Anderlecht have revived their interest in Dundee United left-back Will Ferry, with journalist Sacha Tavolieri reporting that the Belgian club are in active negotiations with the Scottish Premiership side for the 25-year-old.

Rangers activity dominates the headlines

Rangers are closing in on Venezuela striker Kevin Kelsy, with the 22-year-old's transfer from Portland Timbers held up only by a pending UK visa, medical, and work permit clearance, per transfer reporter Ekrem Konur. Portland Timbers head coach Liam Ridgewell spoke positively about Kelsy ahead of the move, describing the forward as a "strong, powerful striker" who would not be fazed by the reported £9m price tag attached to the deal.

Rangers have also made clear to Monaco that acquiring winger Djeidi Gassama will not come cheap.
