Sevilla have submitted a formal complaint to LaLiga in the wake of their contentious 4-1 defeat to Real Madrid on Sunday.

The Andalusian club lodged the grievance with the league governing body following a match that was marred by disputed decisions at the Santiago Bernabéu. The outcome left Sevilla's camp frustrated enough to pursue an official channel of protest.

Sunday's heavy loss compounded a difficult period for the club, and the decision to escalate the matter to LaLiga signals the depth of their discontent with how the game was handled.
