AC Milan legend Mauro Tassotti has delivered a measured assessment of Samuel Chukwueze, praising the Super Eagles winger's determination to adapt while noting the growing pains that have accompanied his positional shift under manager Rúben Amorim.

Tassotti shared his thoughts in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, ahead of AC Milan's return to Serie A action against Sassuolo following the international break. The five-time Scudetto winner spoke broadly about tactical changes across the squad, with Chukwueze drawing particular attention.

The Nigerian winger has been handed a significantly more demanding brief this season — no longer operating solely as an attacker, but now expected to cover the entire right flank up and down the pitch.
