Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey will not feature in his country's opening 2026 FIFA World Cup match against Panama in Toronto after Canadian authorities denied him entry into the country.
Partey, 32, faces seven charges of rape and one charge of sexual assault, stemming from allegations made by four women relating to incidents between 2020 and 2022. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
The Arsenal midfielder is scheduled to stand trial next year.
