Tottenham Hotspur and Everton are in advanced negotiations over two separate transfer deals involving Iliman Ndiaye and Richarlison, with the summer window set to close imminently.

Spurs have approached Everton about signing winger Ndiaye, who has rejected multiple contract renewal offers from the Merseyside club. A move for Ndiaye appears to have gathered pace after Tottenham Hotspur's pursuit of Cody Gakpo shifted, with Manchester City emerging as the likeliest destination for the Liverpool forward should he depart Anfield.

Manchester City have opened formal talks with Liverpool over Gakpo. One source told Sky Sports News that a potential move for the Netherlands international has advanced in City's favour amid Tottenham Hotspur's earlier interest. Personal-terms discussions are also understood to be under way.

Everton are eager to reunite with Richarlison — the Brazilian striker who left the club to join Tottenham Hotspur — and are believed ready to put forward an attractive financial package to bring him back. Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi confirmed on Saturday that Richarlison is among three first-team players who have requested departures before the transfer deadline. Kevin Danso and Pape Matar Sarr are the other two.

De Zerbi is also actively seeking a new forward before the window closes. Chelsea's Pedro Neto had been considered, but attention now appears firmly fixed on Ndiaye. Everton, for their part, are open to selling the Senegal international — though the fee would need to meet their valuation — given that he has shown no willingness to extend his contract.

Liverpool closing in on Barcola as window nears end

Liverpool are on the verge of completing a deal to sign Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain in a fee that could rise from £106 million to £123 million, while Victor Munoz arrived at Anfield from Osasuna earlier in the summer.
