Tottenham Hotspur handed Chelsea a 2-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, 24 October 2026, in a Premier League clash that descended into chaos during its final stages.

Spurs were clinical when it mattered most, converting their opportunities to secure all three points on hostile territory — a result that stands among the more remarkable outcomes in recent north London derby history.

A win on the road

The victory marks a rare triumph for Tottenham in this fixture, with Stamford Bridge traditionally proving a difficult ground for Spurs to leave with anything to show for their efforts.

The closing stages of the match unfolded in turbulent fashion, with the result placing further pressure on Chelsea heading into the weeks ahead.

Tottenham, for their part, will savour a result that strengthens their standing in the Premier League table and delivers a significant psychological blow to a London rival.
