Tottenham Sign Marmoush on Loan from Manchester City with £60m Purchase Obligation

Tottenham Hotspur have reached an agreement to sign Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush on loan, with an obligation to make the transfer permanent for £60 million next summer.

The 27-year-old Egypt international becomes the second player to move from Manchester City to Spurs in quick succession, following Brazilian winger Savio, whom Tottenham signed for an initial fee of £75 million earlier this week.

Marmoush made the move to Manchester City from Eintracht Frankfurt for £59 million in January 2024, but found his opportunities limited at Etihad Stadium due to the presence of Erling Haaland, who dominated the striker role throughout his time at the club.
