England advanced to the last four after a gruelling 122-minute quarter-final in Miami, where Norway pushed them to extra time. French referee Clement Turpin's final whistle brought England's exhausted players to their knees, while thousands of travelling supporters celebrated in the stands. Captain Harry Kane led his team-mates in saluting the fans, and Jude Bellingham — who scored twice — accidentally clashed heads with goalkeeper Jordan Pickford during the on-pitch celebrations.

Yet the England manager was anything but satisfied.
