Former Nigeria international Nduka Ugbade has praised the Super Eagles' character following their 3-3 draw against Russia in an international friendly played on Tuesday.

Eric Chelle's side found themselves in serious trouble in Moscow, trailing 3-1 before staging a memorable fightback. Substitute Edokpolor Peter pulled one back with a brilliant solo goal, before Akor Adams snatched a 90th-minute equaliser to earn Nigeria a share of the spoils.

Ugbade's verdict
