Yaya Touré Embraces Historic Moment as Slovan Bratislava Face PSG With No Fear

1 hour ago·1 min

Slovan Bratislava manager Yaya Touré has declared his side will step onto the pitch at the Parc des Princes against Paris Saint-Germain carrying no pressure, as the two clubs prepare to meet in the UEFA Champions League.

Touré, who made history as the first African head coach to lead a club in the main round of Europe's premier club competition, was speaking at a pre-match press conference ahead of the encounter in Paris.

A pleasure, not a burden

Despite Slovan Bratislava suffering back-to-back defeats in domestic competition heading into the fixture, Touré showed no signs of anxiety. He described the opportunity to face Paris Saint-Germain as something to be relished rather than feared.
