Yira Sor Returns to Training in Time for Amedspor's Konyaspor Clash
Nigeria Super Eagles winger Yira Sor has returned to full training after approximately six weeks out with injury, putting himself in contention for Amedspor's Turkish Super Lig fixture against Konyaspor on Saturday.
The 26-year-old suffered the setback during Amedspor's league encounter with Trabzonspor last month, sidelining him for several matches. Before going down with the injury, Sor had managed one goal from three league outings for the club.
His return comes at an opportune moment for Amedspor, who head into Saturday's contest on an unbeaten run of five consecutive league matches — three wins and two draws — that has carried them to third place in the Turkish Super Lig table with 14 points from seven games.
With the team building real momentum early in the campaign, Sor's availability could prove a significant boost as Amedspor look to sustain their strong start to the season.
