Fulham head coach Alvaro Arbeloa has levelled a stinging accusation at the match officials following his side's 1-1 draw with Manchester United, claiming the referees were determined not to allow United to lose — as compensation for what he described as an unjust decision that cost Fulham in the previous weekend's Manchester derby.

Matheus Cunha rescued a point for United in the 89th minute with a deflected effort, but Arbeloa's anger focused on what happened 35 seconds before that goal: referee Michael Oliver awarded a free-kick to United for a foul by Cesar Palacios on Harry Maguire near the halfway line — a decision Arbeloa considered far too soft.
