Arsenal Chase Two Teenage Talents in Double Transfer Move

Arsenal are pursuing two teenage prospects as the Premier League champions seek to build on their first title in more than two decades.
The Gunners have reportedly made moves for a 16-year-old winger from Leicester City and a 17-year-old Georgian attacking midfielder, signalling an ambitious push to secure long-term squad depth.
Monga bid submitted
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Arsenal have lodged a formal bid for Leicester City winger Jeremy Monga. The deal is said to be "moving quickly," with optimism on both sides that an agreement can be reached.
Monga first attracted attention in 2025 when he became one of the youngest players to appear in the Premier League, making his debut at just 15 years and 271 days as a substitute during a 3-0 defeat to Newcastle United.
Leicester City's fortunes have since declined sharply — the club suffered back-to-back relegations and now compete in League One — leaving them in a weakened negotiating position as Arsenal seek to prise away one of their brightest young talents.
Georgian starlet also in Arsenal's sights
The BBC's Sami Mokbel reports that Arsenal are also preparing a pre-contract offer for Andria Bartishvili, a 17-year-old attacking midfielder who plays for Georgian side Kolkheti 1913.
Bartishvili developed through the youth academy at Dinamo Tbilisi before moving to Kolkheti 1913. Local media have compared him to Khvicha Kvaratskhelia following a standout performance in which he scored twice against Kazakhstan U17s in an international tournament in 2025.
Talks between the player's camp and Arsenal are said to be ongoing, though other clubs are also understood to be monitoring the teenager. Arsenal, however, are prepared to move decisively to secure his signature.
Building for the future
Should Arsenal complete both signings, the club would add two high-potential teenagers to their ranks — a clear indication that the Premier League champions intend to remain at the summit of English football for years to come.
