Arsenal have been included in the shortlist for the 2026 Ballon d'Or Men's Club of the Year award, with the official Ballon d'Or organisation confirming the nomination via their X account on Tuesday.

The Gunners find themselves in distinguished company. They are nominated alongside Champions League holders Paris Saint-Germain, Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, South American giants Flamengo, and Norwegian side Bodo/Glimt.

A season to remember

Arsenal acknowledged the nomination on their official website, pointing to a landmark campaign that delivered the Premier League title and a run to the Champions League Final as the basis for their inclusion.

The club secured the league by seven points, winning 26 top-flight matches — including five consecutive victories at the close of the season to finish above Manchester City.

Their European journey was equally impressive. Arsenal eliminated Bayern Munich and Inter Milan in the league phase before dispatching Bayer Leverkusen, Sporting CP, and Atletico Madrid to reach the final in Budapest.
