Aston Villa Reach Verbal Agreement to Sign PSG Winger Ibrahim Mbaye

Aston Villa have reached a verbal agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Senegal international winger Ibrahim Mbaye, Sky Sports News can confirm.
Mbaye has been on Villa's radar since at least March, with the player himself eager to secure a move this summer in pursuit of consistent first-team football. The right winger made 24 Ligue 1 appearances for Paris Saint-Germain last season, contributing three goals and two assists.
Liverpool had also assessed the possibility of signing Mbaye, though it is Aston Villa who have moved decisively to secure his signature.
Leao pursuit abandoned
Villa had been monitoring AC Milan forward Rafael Leao as an alternative wide option, but that avenue has closed. Sky's Italian sources report that Leao, a Portugal international, has agreed to join Galatasaray instead, leaving Villa to focus their efforts on Mbaye as their primary attacking reinforcement.
