Atalanta are among several clubs keeping a close eye on Rangers midfielder Nicolas Raskin this summer, with the 25-year-old currently featuring for Belgium at the World Cup finals, according to transfer insider Gianluca di Marzio.

Raskin attracting European interest

The Belgian international's performances at Ibrox have drawn attention from multiple clubs across the continent, with Atalanta emerging as one of the front-runners for his signature ahead of what could be a busy transfer window for Rangers.

Meanwhile, winger Andreas Skov Olsen could yet find himself back at Rangers. Wolfsburg are reportedly willing to sell the 26-year-old at a reduced fee after Rangers opted not to trigger the £8 million buy option written into his loan agreement, according to Salzgitter via the Daily Record.

Elsewhere in the Rangers camp, Kilmarnock are understood to be pursuing a loan deal for 19-year-old midfielder Bailey Rice, who has already agreed personal terms on a contract extension at Ibrox, per Rangers Review.

Hearts head coach search gathers pace

The situation at Heart of Midlothian is drawing significant attention, with speculation mounting over who will step into the hotseat should Derek McInnes depart for Rangers.

According to Football Insider, Sebastien Pocognoli — sacked by Monaco earlier this month — has emerged as the leading candidate to take charge at Tynecastle. However, the Daily Record reports that Dutchman Rene Hake, aged 54, who recently departed as an assistant at Feyenoord, is currently the bookmakers' favourite for the role.

Former Ferencvaros head coach Robbie Keane, who was also considered by Celtic this summer, has been installed among the favourites to become the next Hearts boss by Scottish bookmakers, according to the Scottish Sun.

Further Scottish football movement

Motherwell are also in the market for a new head coach, with Portuguese manager Goncalo Feio — who stepped away from Tondela following their relegation from the top flight — confirming he is open to a move abroad, per the Daily Record. The 36-year-old is among the names being considered for the vacancy.

Celtic first-team coach Gavin Strachan has held talks with Championship club West Bromwich Albion and could join up with former Scotland international James Morrison, according to the Express and Star.

At Celtic, manager Martin O'Neill is pushing to retain both Shaun Maloney and Mark Fotheringham as part of his backroom staff, with contract discussions continuing, per the Scottish Sun.

Finally, former Rangers manager Graeme Murty is expected to leave his position as Sunderland under-21s head coach this summer, according to the Sunderland Echo.
