60 minutes ago·1 min

England's World Cup semi-final will be broadcast live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, the broadcaster has confirmed. The Three Lions will face either Argentina or Switzerland at the Atlanta Stadium on Wednesday, 15 July, with kick-off scheduled for 20:00 BST.

England reached the last four by defeating Norway 2-1 in the quarter-finals in Miami on Saturday. The victory sets up what promises to be a memorable last-four tie in Atlanta.

The other semi-final, played on Tuesday, 14 July (20:00), sees European champions Spain take on 2022 runners-up France in Dallas. That match will be broadcast live on ITV.

The tournament concludes with the final at the New York New Jersey Stadium on Sunday, 19 July, at 20:00.

Fans can follow every World Cup match through live radio commentary on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Sounds. Live text coverage and expert analysis are also available on the BBC Sport website and app.

For those unable to catch every game in real time, spoiler-free highlights are posted each morning on iPlayer and the BBC Football YouTube channel. BBC Sport's new interactive 3D experience is also available for all live BBC TV matches on the BBC Sport website and app, and in replay mode for ITV fixtures.
