Berrada: Manchester United Will Not Overpay in Transfer Market This Summer

yesterday·1 min

Manchester United chief executive Omar Berrada has made clear the club will stay disciplined in the transfer market this summer, refusing to be driven by agent pressure or inflated valuations as they look to build on a third-place finish in the Premier League.

Speaking on United's Inside Carrington podcast, Berrada pointed to last summer's window as the blueprint the club intends to follow. United moved decisively early in that window, securing Matheus Cunha from Wolves and Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford before adding striker Benjamin Sesko and goalkeeper Senne Lammens before the deadline. All four contributed positively as United qualified for the UEFA Champions League for the first time in three years.
