Burnley Land Chelsea Teenager Satpayev on Season-Long Loan

Burnley have secured the season-long loan signing of Kazakhstan winger Dastan Satpayev from Chelsea, adding a promising young talent to their ranks as they seek to bounce back up the divisions.
The 18-year-old completed the move just two days after his birthday, having penned a six-year contract — with an option for a further 12 months — at Stamford Bridge. Satpayev had pre-agreed to join Chelsea back in January 2025, arriving from Kairat FC in a deal worth £3.4 million.

The teenager expressed his excitement at the prospect of his first taste of English football. "I'm very pleased to be here. It's a great opportunity for me in my career and a great club to show what I can do and help the team get back to where they belong," Satpayev said.
"It's my first time playing in England and I'm ready now to take on the next chapter and have a successful time with Burnley," he added.
Chelsea's busy loan window
Satpayev's departure is one of several loan moves Chelsea have made this week. Ryan Kavuma-McQueen has joined Portsmouth, Reggie Walsh has moved to Wigan Athletic, and Shim Mheuka is also nearing a temporary exit from Stamford Bridge.
