The Carabao Cup Fourth Round draw is set to take place shortly after the final Third Round fixture wraps up, with 12 Third Round matches spread across two separate weeks in September due to English clubs competing in European competition.

When is the Fourth Round draw?

The draw will be broadcast live on Sky Sports following Manchester United's Third Round clash with Brighton & Hove Albion on September 16, which kicks off at 8pm BST. The draw itself is expected to begin at approximately 10:20pm BST. Former Liverpool and Everton players Jamie Redknapp and Ashley Young will conduct the draw.

Third Round fixtures still to come

On September 15, five matches are scheduled, headlined by Liverpool hosting Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield. West Ham United welcome Fulham to the London Stadium in what was recently a Premier League derby, while Arsenal — beaten finalists in last season's Carabao Cup Final against Manchester City — travel to Ipswich Town. Peterborough United host Barnsley, and Reading face Brentford at home.

The following evening, September 16, sees the final three fixtures of the round. Everton host Wolverhampton Wanderers in a rescheduled tie that had originally been pencilled in for September 9. Sheffield United travel to Fleetwood, and Coventry City — newly promoted to the top flight — entertain Aston Villa.

Manchester United then close out the round against Brighton & Hove Albion, with the draw to follow. There is a possibility that Cameroonian midfielder Carlos Baleba could make his Manchester United debut in that fixture; if he does not feature, he is expected to appear in the club's next Premier League outing against Fulham.

Several clubs have already secured their place in the Fourth Round, having played their Third Round fixtures in the earlier window. Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Sunderland, Newcastle United, and Bradford are all confirmed Fourth Round participants.
