Celtic Chase Bowie and Hassan as Scottish Transfer Window Heats Up

Celtic are preparing to make an aggressive push to sign Hellas Verona striker Kieron Bowie, according to reports from Italy, despite Bologna reportedly holding pole position in the race for the Scotland international.
The 23-year-old forward has attracted significant attention following Hellas Verona's relegation from Serie A, with Cagliari and Sassuolo also said to be monitoring the situation. Verona have placed a £13 million price tag on Bowie in an effort to fend off potential suitors.
Egypt winger also in Celtic's sights
Separately, Celtic have submitted a bid of £3.4 million for Real Oviedo winger Haissem Hassan, the 24-year-old who caught the eye representing Egypt at the World Cup. However, a newly established release clause at the Spanish club is understood to be set at £10 million — a figure that would significantly complicate any deal.
O'Neill targets familiar faces
Manager Martin O'Neill has confirmed Celtic are working to bring back striker Kelechi Iheanacho, 29, and left-back Marcelo Saracchi, 28, who spent last season on loan from Boca Juniors. O'Neill also revealed that a lengthy deliberation over whether to permanently accept the Celtic job contributed to a two-week delay in finalising his backroom staff.
Rangers, Hearts, and Aberdeen movement
Meanwhile, Tromso midfielder Jens Hjerto-Dahl has indicated that a move to Rangers holds more appeal than the reported interest from Turkish side Besiktas, with the 20-year-old openly drawn to the prospect of moving to Glasgow.
Borussia Dortmund are keen to take Tottenham Hotspur winger Mikey Moore on loan with an option to buy, though Tottenham are reluctant to sanction a permanent exit for the 18-year-old former Rangers loanee.
Heart of Midlothian forward Claudio Braga, 26, is attracting a widening circle of admirers — Ipswich Town and Trabzonspor have joined Lyon in registering an interest in the striker.
Hearts have also revived their pursuit of Forest Green Rovers defender Laurent Mendy, making a fresh move for the 29-year-old Frenchman after an earlier bid was rejected in January.
At Aberdeen, winger Topi Keskinen, 23, has drawn interest from Hajduk Split, while left-back Mitchel Frame, 20, is on the radar of Swedish club Hacken and Polish side Rakow Częstochowa. The Dons are also eyeing a loan deal for Hull City defender Cathal McCarthy, 19.
Dinamo Zagreb president Zvonimir Boban has acknowledged his club have received offers for Scotland centre-half Scott McKenna, but insists the 29-year-old has no desire to leave the Croatian champions.
