Chelsea secured a 2-0 victory over Manchester United in the Premier League, taking full advantage of their opponents' second-half collapse and a red card that left United playing with 10 men.

The Blues were dominant after the interval, punishing a shambolic Manchester United performance that unravelled badly as the match wore on. Chelsea's clinical finishing ensured there was no way back for the visitors.

Manchester United's afternoon turned from difficult to disastrous following the dismissal that reduced them to 10 men, handing Chelsea the initiative they needed to push for goals. The home side did not waste the opportunity.

The result extends Chelsea's momentum in the Premier League, while Manchester United's struggles continue to deepen — a concerning run of form that shows little sign of improvement as the season progresses.
