Como Give VIP Seats to Oldest Supporters for Historic Champions League Debut

2 hours ago·1 min

Como 1907 president Mirwan Suwarso has made a remarkable gesture ahead of the club's first-ever UEFA Champions League appearance, announcing that board members will surrender their VIP seats to the club's most loyal and long-serving supporters.

When Como welcome RB Leipzig to the newly redeveloped Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia on Thursday evening, the executive box will be filled not by corporate figures or wealthy owners — but by fans born in 1950 or earlier, who supported the club through its darkest years in non-league football.

A seat for those who never gave up

Suwarso shared the announcement on his official social media channels, explaining that the stadium has sold out entirely, with limited capacity meaning many supporters were unable to secure tickets.
