Fenerbahce Close In on €45m Mason Greenwood Deal From Marseille

Fenerbahce are growing confident they can land Mason Greenwood from Marseille in a deal worth around €45 million (£38.36m), with the Turkish club edging closer to securing the 24-year-old forward.
Marseille have shown a willingness to sell Greenwood this summer, and Fenerbahce believe negotiations are progressing well enough for a transfer to be completed. Roma have also been linked with the player throughout the window.
Interest from the top
Fenerbahce's desire to sign Greenwood stretches back to before the club's presidential elections in early June, when both candidates publicly declared their interest in the England-born attacker.
Greenwood joined Marseille from Manchester United in July 2024 in a £26.6m deal. Since arriving in France, he has been prolific — recording 48 goals in 76 appearances across all competitions. He finished the 2025-26 Ligue 1 season as joint second in the golden boot standings with 16 goals, behind only Rennes' Esteban Lepaul.
