FIFA has unveiled a brand-new ball for the closing stages of the 2026 World Cup, replacing the tournament's original match ball with a striking gold and black design.
The Trionda Final — as the new ball is known — will be used across all four remaining fixtures: the two semi-finals pitting France against Spain and England against Argentina, the third-place play-off, and Sunday's final.
A new look for the final stretch
Adidas and FIFA made the switch official on 6 July, confirming that the Trionda Final would succeed the Trionda Official Match Ball. The original ball featured red, blue, green, and white — colours drawn from the flags of the three host nations — and was used across the tournament's first 100 games.
